Pulsating music of the road

Pulsating music of the road

Train's wheels
Pulsating music of the road
The dusting tempo covering the tracks
Wind carrying it in the blue yonder, echo boomeranging back

The pathway lullaby ebbing the ears
Subduing metal's caterwauling sounds
Inviting slumber come and settles in
It's a time for me to enter, shaking my maracas

Drink gossip Mad Hatter serving in the cups
Be outsmarted (in dream only) by Tweedledee and Tweedledum,,weird things can really go out of hand
Cortege of rail-cars intoning gentle whistling

Ain't our life is train, crisscrossing globe?
Some have destination, some lost in foggy Shanghai-La
Poor Yeti wandering the Himalayas ,hunted
So out of place ,so out of time

Train take me to place where happiness is waiting
