The blue night singing the blues

The blue night singing the blues
Forlorn she sat on the balcony of sadness
Floating in dreams , mere shadows of imagination
And the lonely rose reminded of begotten ideals
Stepped over, torn by the capricious providence
The moon heard her cheerless sighs
The muted conversation of unmoving lips
Whispering the words not meant to be carried over
Crying tearless, the soul wept for the lost love
Remaining cold , the moon acting like stepmother
Cinderella had, unfeeling to the needs of woman
Yearning to confess, forfeit the baggage of the years
Smelling the blooms uninterrupted fragrance
The blue night singing the blues
The color of the melancholy surround
She froze under the chilly light in the gossamer dress
Even in summer feeling the bite of winter weather
